On November 1, 2010 the Wildwood City FD, along with the City of North Wildwood FD, West Wildwood FD, and Wildwood Crest FD conducted a training session at an aquired structure on Tacony Rd. in Wildwood.  The structure was a 2-story duplex that was slated for demolition.  The drill was divided into three stations; Primary search, Ground ladder operations, and Roof operations.  All members rotated through the three stations and obtained hands-on training in a realistic environment.   Training in acquired structures gives firefighters the opportunity to practice their skills as well as learn new ones in buildings that they would normally operate in.  The drill was very successful.  The Wildwood FD looks forward to continue training and working with our neighboring departments in the future.
