On March 3, 2011 Wildwood Professional Firefighters FMBA Local 50 members along with members from North Wildwood Professional Firefighters FMBA Local 56 attended a Rally for Public Safety at the Statehouse in Trenton. The rally was attended by over 15,000 firefighters and police officers to send a message to Govenor Christie that enough is enough. His proposals and programs are resulting in multiple layoffs and budget cuts in public safety departments throughout the State of New Jersey. There were many speakers at the rally including multiple State Legislators who stated that they support public safety and will fight for us. |
