Winter Storm Jonas severely impacted the City of Wildwood on January 23-24th, 2016.  The storm began as snow during the evening on January 22nd and continued into the morning of the 23rd.  As high tide approached on Saturday morning, the 23rd, the City would experience the highest levels of tidal flooding since Superstorm Sandy.  The members of the Wildwood City FD handled over 70 fire responses and another dozen EMS calls during the event.  Members responded to everything from reported building fires, electrical fires, and gas leaks to downed wires, and multiple evacuations of residents stranded in flooded homes.  The members of the Wildwood City FD responded proudly as always to serve our neighbors and residents in need.  Job well done by all!
