On Wednesday March 5, 2014 Engine 38 and Ambulance 393 were dispatched to the City of North Wildwood for a reported car into a building on Walnut Ave.   F-200 NWFD Chief Cole arrived and reported a car into a dwelling with entrapment and significant structural damage.  He also requested Rescue 3 be dispatched for a rescue assignment.  Engine 38 and Rescue 3 arrived and assisted Engine 2 with extricating the occupant from the vehicle.  Engine 38 and Rescue 3 then assisted in shoring up the damaged area of the building.  Engine 38 and Rescue 3 operated on the scene for approximately 1 hour before returning to service.
