Flooding after Thunderstorms, |
| On Saturday August 25 Cape May County was hit with severe thunderstorms. Wildwood was hit particulary hard from this storm. The island received over 6 inches of rain in just a few hours. C platoon responded to multiple incidents during the storm including several rescues of stranded motorists in flood waters. Due to the high volume of calls there was a recall of off-duty firefighters to help staff additional units. The storms carried into the early morning hours of August 26th before coming to an end. | ||
