Wildwood FMBA Local 50

At approximately 14:22 hours on February 14th, Engine 38 and Rescue 390 were dispatched to the 4400 block of Park Blvd. for the report of a motor vehicle crash vs. pole. Upon arrival, Engine 38 advised that they had a small dump truck that had completely taken down a utility pole. The occupants of the vehicle had self-exited prior to FD arrival. Engine 38 stood by while Atlantic City Electric secured the utilities. Later at about 17:15 hours while the Electric Co. was preparing to move the vehicle the battery shorted out causing a small fire that was quickly extinguished. Residents in the area were without power for a little over an hour. There were no serious injuries in the accident.
