Trash Compactor Fire at the Convention Center |
Wildwood E38 (C-Platoon) was notified by Firefighter Rob Feltwell on location at the Convention Center of a compactor fire in the rear of the complex. E38 along with NWFD E2 responded. E38 stretched on the job and began extinguishment. Firefighters utilized a utility truck and chain to separate the dumpster portion of the unit from the compactor to complete extinguishment. Firefighters operated on scene for over an hour due to extensive overhauling. |
