On October 3, 2010 at approximately 13:04 hours the Wildwood City FD was dispatched on a box alarm assignment to 134 E. Schellenger Ave. for a reported structure fire.  Engine 38 and "B" platoon responded under the command of Capt. Gose.  Upon arrival, firefighters found smoke and fire showing from the second floor of a 3 story vacant multiple dwelling.  Engine 38 quickly stretched a line to the second floor and made a quick knockdown of the fire.  The fire was confined to the B side of the structure.  Box alarm companies assisted with extinguishment and overhaul.  There were no injuries reported and the fire was determined to be electrical in nature.  Units operated on the scene for approximately 1.5 hours.
