Wildwood Firefighter and WBP Lifeguard Darrick Kobierowski along with his partner from WCBP, Terry McGovern won the Around the Island Row for the second straight year on Wednesday August 12, 2015. Kobie and McGovern started the race in the lead and never looked back. In addition to this win, FF Kobierowski has had an impressive summer winning the singles race at Wildwood's Dutch Hoffman's as well as the singles and doubles at the Tri-Resort Race in Sea Isle City. Darrick also placed 3rd in the singles row at the Kerr Memorial Race in Avalon and second place in singles row at the South Jersey Lifeguard Championships in Margate.
